Yes — Gonzalez Carpentry serves all of Cameron County, TX including Harlingen, Brownsville, San Benito, Los Fresnos, Port Isabel, and South Padre Island. We are locally based in Harlingen and do not travel outside Cameron County.

A full gut remodel runs 3–6 weeks depending on scope and any plumbing relocation. We give you a realistic timeline upfront and stick to it.

Plumbing relocations, electrical changes, and structural modifications typically require permits in Harlingen and Brownsville. We will tell you upfront if your project requires permits and coordinate that process with the city. Cosmetic work — new tile, vanity swap, fixture replacement — generally does not require permits.

Many homeowners choose to purchase their own fixtures from Home Depot, Lowe's, or online retailers and have us install them — that works perfectly and can help you save on material costs.
